Celebrating Student Creativity in Your School & Community
This course is for K-12 visual art teachers who are interested in expanding their art-making and project design skills.
Through a series of hands-on visual art workshops you will build a toolkit of art-making activities and design a project plan to create an installation of your students' art work in your school and/or community.

Faculty
Judy Klima (she/her)
Course Leader​
Judy has been teaching for over 28 years across the spectrum of ages ranging from Pre-K to adults, focusing on middle school for the past six years.
Julian Bradshaw (she/her)
Workshop Leader​
Julian is a passionate artist and educator with over 30 years of experience as a high school art teacher.

Dorsey Hogg (she/her)
Workshop Leader​
Dorsey has been teaching elementary art for over 25 years, and during the last 10 years she has been exploring book arts and paper sculpture by repurposing book pages and papers that are destined for the landfill.

Tuition
-
$2,000 - Three graduate credits
-
$1,790 - Certificate of Participation for 40 hours relicensing credits
$100 later registration fee after May 1.
Tuition includes a private air-conditioned dorm room with a centrally located private bath at the University of Vermont, plus breakfast and lunch. Everyone is on their own for dinner in Burlington. Lodging is optional.

Attend Solo or as a Team
You can attend solo or with a team from your school or district.
Teams can be composed of educators (classroom teachers, councilors, paras, special educators, staff, administrators) and can be from the same grades and content areas, or mixed.
Teams may include educators from different schools in the district if you want to design a multi-school project.
